lately..

Sorry to have gone so long without a post! Danny is doing GREAT! He works really hard at his job! He's selling, selling, SELLING which is amazing in this tough economic time! He's in the works for getting prepared/worthy for a service mission! HOW AWESOME! We are so proud of him! Since his last second job was with a company that tanked, he is looking for yet another second job. Good luck! I think Orem/ Provo will be on hiring freeze soon..uh oh! Danny's birthday is coming up soon, soon, soon!! Finally, he'll be hitting the big 1-9!

Danny got a second job!! Hooray!!! He is really liking his first job at MSTAR and he's doing really well! Who knew what a little salesman he is? He sells bunches of double and triple plays (whatever that is) and his commission is a lot! Hooray for Dan! :) He also got a second job the other day. He went in for an associate position and ended up being made manager! Everything is going really great for him! Way to go Danny!

The New Danny

This is Sam again, but OH! I just had to get on here and write a little blog about how AMAZING Danny has been doing! He is trying so hard to do all the right things! His life has been blow after blow after blow lately, and it has been my absolute pleasure to watch him push forward with such faith! He got his job and works very hard, who knew he was such a great salesman? He makes quite a bit in commission and has already impressed his bosses! He goes to church every Sunday without anyone putting pressure on him, he is meeting with his bishop to begin the repentance process, he is beginning to save money, he has started a budget, he has a new found organization and keeps track of his own schedule, he is looking into government grants to help him pay for school...there are so many wonderful things he is doing! Courtney and I are dazzled by his efforts and we can't WAIT to see what he'll do next! He has 96 hours of community service to do and I can't wait to see what blessings that will bring into his life! I think he may even continue to serve the community even after his 96 hours are done! Things are finally falling into place and we are all seeing a "new and improved" Dan who is ready to go and has his life in order and together! Things can only get better from here!

So today, Courtney and I brought Danny to the park so we could all pretend to be old...I've been on a crocheting kick lately, but unfortunately I don't know how to make anything except for a really basic chain which I am then going to turn into a padded hanger...well see how that goes. Anyway, it inspired Court to do something crazy (like usual.) We had lots of fun! The pictures are of all of us doing our "old people" activities. Danny was pretending to sleep like an old man, but the funny thing in this picture is the SIZE of the ball of yarn sitting on Danny's lap! We thought it was pretty funny! It was a fun adventure!

gEtTiNg OrGaNiZeD

So, things have been pretty WILD around here...everything has been getting a little confusing with all of our conflicting scheduling! (I am at school from this time to this time, meet at your apartment at 6, Danny needs to buy milk and I'll be at the grocery store until an undetermined time...) Finally, I had enough of it and HAD to get us both organized before I lost it and went wacko! I dragged Danny to Wal-Mart to get him a calendar so we could plan things out and he's not cooperating so well--he's whining about it to me RIGHT NOW! I can tell he's getting pretty exasperated because he thinks "he's got it together," but I'm starting to lose my mind and he has to do this whether he wants to or not. :) I took a couple of pictures of him with his new calendar, but he wouldn't smile and the camera wasn't working too well. I hope you enjoy it anyway! I hope he'll come around soon!!!! He looks so cute with his new super sized calendar!

The Birth of the Blog

This is the beginning of Danny's blog. I am doing this so that his Mom will be able to see all the things he's doing right now! Things have been pretty out of whack for him lately, but it's all getting better every day! We just cleaned up his apartment and have been spending a lot of time looking for jobs. His days are pretty busy considering he spends most of his waking hours job searching. I hope things get better for him very soon! This is just to keep everyone updated! He's not so into this blogging thing, but I'm trying to get him on board with everything! Soon, he will love it! I just know he will! :)
